My birds of the world!
Well, we have a treat this week with Elaine Kennedy telling us about the birds of the world. She has seen them all and knows their stories well. Elaine has a world book of birds and she checks off all that she has seen. The number is probably close to 500 varieties by now.
It is amazing how many different types of birds there are in the world. Elaine has gone to the Arctic, the Antarctic, every country in Europe, Africa, Asia…you name the country and Elaine has been there bird watching…and of course soaking up the culture.
Do come and soak up the stories and the wonderful pictures of the marvelous birds of the world that Elaine has seen. Remember, it is Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Cornwall Library.
