Summer Olympics-themed Storytime! 

Best suited for the 0 to 3-year-olds.

Bring your little one to the library to create art with Olympic colours. Using their fingers and bright paints, they can make their own masterpieces inspired by the Olympic rings.

Come to story time at the library for some Olympic-themed stories and a fun activity. It will take place on the second floor at our alphabet carpet. All are welcome!

Best suited for the 0 to 3-year-olds.

In this family craft, children and their families will create colourful Olympic-inspired windsocks using simple craft materials. This fun and easy project celebrates the Olympic spirit and adds a festive touch to any space.

Join us for an exciting arts & crafts workshop designed especially for children aged 4-6! In this workshop, young artists will create their own Olympic ring stamps using recycled toilet paper rolls.

Join us on the carpet for a fun-filled puppet show story time. From classic fairy tales to the modern stories we all know and love, nothing is off-limits when imagination is involved. 

Use a variety of materials to create art with Olympic colours. Using fingers, sponges, cups, bright paints, and more, kids can make their own masterpieces inspired by the Olympic rings.

Kids will brainstorm, design, and build their own unique Olympic-style game using the materials provided. Then, they'll explain the rules and teach others how to play. Be creative, work together, and have loads of fun!

Calling all kids aged 7 to 9 to join us for an energetic game of Balloon Tennis right here in the library! This interactive workshop transforms our space into a dynamic tennis court where children can learn, play, and have a blast.

Calling all young builders aged 7 to 9 to join us for a creative workshop where we'll construct our very own Olympic Stadium!

Join us for a round of balloon volleyball! Kids will team up to play a fun and energetic game of keep-it-up using balloons. The goal is to keep the balloon in the air without letting it touch the ground on your side of the net.

Do you enjoy the New York Times Puzzles and Games such as Wordle, Connections, The Mini, and more? Join us weekly to solve these challenging games—with a twist! Each week will have new Olympic themed puzzles to solve.

Calling all young storytellers and builders aged 10 to 13 to join us for an exciting series of StoryWalk building sessions every Wednesday in August at the library!
