Day-Use Vehicle Permit Library Lending Program

ONTARIO PARKS

Cornwall Public Library partnered with Ontario Parks in the Day-Use Vehicle Permit Library Lending Program. Beginning January 1 to December 31, 2021, library members can borrow one of 3 day-passes that provide access for one vehicle and its occupants to more than 100 provincial parks in Ontario for free.

How to borrow the day pass?

Borrow your day-use pass as you would any other library item. Search for Ontario Parks in our catalogue and reserve your pass using your library account, or simply ask for it at the circulation desk when the library is open to the public. The pass is available for a one-week loan period.

2021 Day-use discount bonus offer

Get $5 off the regular price of an Ontario Parks Daily Vehicle permit. The first 30 members to borrow the Ontario Park pass will receive a bonus $5 off their next visit to an Ontario Park.

Which park can I visit?

There are more than 100 provincial parks to choose from. Go to www.ontarioparks.com/ to locate your favourite Ontario provincial park. The site provides information as to which park is open, what facilities are available, and which activities you may enjoy at the park.

How can I get a library card!

Anyone may visit the library and use its resources, including access to the Internet, for no charge. Borrowing from the library is free for Cornwall residents. A membership fee is charged for borrowing privileges for people who do not reside within the City of Cornwall. Apply for your card here. Request a library card here.
