THIS WEEK'S ACTIVITY IS: SINK OR FLOAT
Using knowledge of buoyancy, and potentially even using the Titanic as an example, children will build boats made to withstand the rocky waters of the sea (a small container of water). A few sheets of paper, aluminum foil, some modeling clay, twist ties, pipe cleaners, popsicle sticks, and plastic straws will be our handy materials to create unsinkable ships.
