Short & Sweet is a monthly evening program bringing exceptional short films to the library, followed by guided conversation. Each session runs about an hour and focuses on a different theme or tradition in film - Canadian and international, documentary and animated, classic and contemporary. 

No film background needed. Just come ready to watch and discuss! 

Session 1: Classic Canadian Animated Shorts Canada has a remarkable and largely unsung tradition in animated short film, much of it produced through the National Film Board of Canada. In this first session, we'll screen a few classic NFB animated shorts and spend the second half of the evening in open discussion. A great way to discover (or rediscover) something genuinely worth watching.
