DESCRIPTION:Autumn Registration Opens on August 21.Welcome to the Cornwall
  and Regional Writers Society!We are a welcoming, library-based writers’
  circle that supports creative expression, skill development, and communit
 y building for writers in and around Cornwall, Ontario. The new season be
 gins on September 21, 2026, and will continue until June 21, 2027. Registr
 ation (mandatory) opens on August 21. Limited spaces available, no drop-in
 s accepted. Registrations are on a first-come, first-served basis.Overview
  of the Society's ActivitiesThe society convenes on the third Monday 
 evening of each month, with the exception of July, August, and any holiday
 s that fall on a Monday. These meetings are part of an ongoing series desi
 gned to foster engagement among members.Community Focus:The society priori
 tizes encouragement, creativity, and mutual support over competition, crea
 ting an inclusive atmosphere for all participants.Writing and Feedback:Mem
 bers are invited to share their own work and engage in constructive discus
 sions. This practice promotes a collaborative environment where feedback i
 s both welcomed and encouraged.Creative Growth:To stimulate creative explo
 ration, the society may introduce topics or prompts, allowing writers to e
 xperiment with different styles or genres and venture beyond their usual c
 omfort zones.Eligibility:The society is open to adults and older teens, ge
 nerally ages 16 and up.Experience Level:All individuals with an interest i
 n writing and learning are welcome, regardless of their experience level, 
 from novices to published authors.Participation Guidelines:Registration is
  required to join. Once the group reaches capacity, a waiting list will be
  maintained for interested participants.
