Michele Alinotte

When making a will, there are other areas of law to think about, no matter your marital situation. This talk will review family law considerations when choosing guardians, how cohabitation, marriage, separation, and divorce impacts your will or what happens if you don’t have a will. It will also discuss family law issues to think about when making a will (including how those issues may impact on beneficiaries and estate distribution). Join Michele Allinotte, an attorney at Journey Law, as she discusses Family and Estate planning issues.

Michele founded what is now Journey Law in 2009. She helps people who have lost a loved one with estate matters; works with families and businesses plan for their future with wills, powers of attorney, trusts, and corporate matters; and helps people buy, sell and refinance real estate. When she is not working on Journey Law, or her online thrift store, Michele is single parenting two teens and a dog named Finn and spending time with her partner and step-children. In before COVID times, she enjoyed travelling and exploring new countries, but for the time being, she will be staying close to home.

The program will be held over Zoom, which you can download for free here. Zoom is a virtual platform that allows groups of people to meet online. It can be used on any device.
