In 2016, local Holy Trinity graduate Marc Lafleur founded truLOCAL, an e-commerce platform where consumers can purchase meat subscription boxes with products sourced from local farmers. By 2019, annual revenue had hit $20 million, and truLOCAL was acquired for $16.7 million the following year.

Marc Lafleur will be launching his debut novel, True Founder, and to celebrate, he will be hosting a lecture on "Entrepreneurship and Launching a Startup", as well as hosting a 1 hour AMA (Ask Me Anything) session at Cornwall Public Library on the afternoon of February 4th. If you're a founder, thinking about becoming a founder, or a student who wants to learn more about launching a startup, come out to meet Marc and learn more about his background as a young founder and CEO. 10 copies of True Founder will be up for grabs as door prizes for attendees, reserve your seat(s) below!
