The Friends of the Cornwall Public Library is a registered charitable incorporated organization whose mandate is to support the Cornwall Public Library by raising funds to enhance library programs, services and collections and by advocating for good library services in the City of Cornwall.
The Friends have donated a significant amount of money to the Library since their inception in 1994. The money raised from Giant Book Sales and the Friends' Place Book Store has gone towards the following recent new projects:

Open Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m to 4 p.m. Good bargains can be found. Come visit us! Watch for our Annual Big Book Sale in the Fall and other fundraising initiatives.
If you would like to become a member ask a volunteer at the Friends Place, just inside the entrance. for an application. Monthly meetings are held first Monday in April, May, June, Sept, Oct, Nov and Dec.
