This presentation will show you how ordinary people can write their stories to share with their descendants.
Your writing abilities are secondary, we merely want writers to tell and write their stories. Find out more about this

Now what…? Traditional publishing, E-Books and the world of Indie Publishing If you have written or are in the process of writing a book, this seminar is for you. Denise will walk you through the main publishing options available today and will look at the benefits and potential challenges of each to help you determine the publishing path that is right for you. How do I know if my book is ready to publish? Should I print books? Or produce an electronic version? Is it true that traditional publishers are no longer accepting submissions? Is it true that I have to pay for my own editing and marketing, even with a traditional publisher? What’s the difference between self-publishing and co-publishing? Is self publishing worthwhile? How much will it cost? How much can I make? How do I market my book? Is it easy to format? Do I need a cover? Do I need a company to help me? Does (insert genre of book here) sell? What else do I need to do? Presented by: Denise Neilson 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm Program rooms 1 & 2 All WRITERSFEST sessions require free registration due to limited number of seats available.
